The Diploma in Retail Floorcoverings
The Flooring Guild has been working closely with a number of key retailers to raise standards in the flooring industry. The ultimate goal is to formally recognise competent and professional staff and give competitive advantage to the companies who employ them.

Together we created the syllabus for a formal Qualification under the title of “Diploma in Retail Floorcoverings”.
In order to qualify Candidates are required to take a written examination to test their knowledge and demonstrate competence in a range of key skills including product knowledge and planning.
The Diploma is administered by The Flooring Guild under the direction of a Standards Committee appointed by our Members.
